August 12: A Day Right up our ALLEY!

Gah all year we’ve been waiting for Jojo to ring her bell at the crack of dawn, but now that it’s actually here, Jojo does it have to be SO early? Just kidding, there is so much talking and hugging and activities to do today that we can’t wait for the day to start!

This morning, we got dressed for the day and ate a quick breakfast. Half of us went to yoga on the lawn, while the other half opted to play board games in the main cabin instead.

Then we loaded up our caravan of vehicles and hit the town. We took our annual trip to Hangar’s Pub and Grill; we are so grateful to them for having us! And somehow, we even turned it into a Bachelor party for the second year in a row. Harry is getting married next week, so of course we had to celebrate, and teach him some of our favorite moves for the afterparty.

From Hangar’s we headed straight to K&M Bowling for some fun! There was bowling, there was dancing, AND there were tater tots! What more could we ask for?

After a fun, but long day, we returned back to camp to enjoy a lovely dinner outside at the picnic tables. A group went inside for movie night, and the rest of us stayed outside to play games and chat under the night sky. There was a meteor shower last night, and while we didn’t see any shooting stars, if we had, who knows what we would’ve wished for? Being with these people is all we’ve wanted all year!
