Kara Hart
Co-Chair
Kara joined the community in 2015 and really connected with the people and rhythm of retreat life. She fell in love with dance parties, floats in the water, campfires, and the friendships that grew around it all. She cares deeply about keeping those moments alive and sharing the magic with more friends.
Kara currently lives on Martha’s Vineyard and works as a commercial operations manager in the healthcare space making her an incredible asset to the operations side of The Ashmere Project.
Kara is excited to help shape the new property into a place where everyone feels welcome, included, and part of the fun.

Erik believes that Ashmere's new home provides the opportunity to expand the retreat and share the magic with more adults with disabilities. Building the best and most fun accessible forest trails in New England is something Erik is passionate about. He is looking forward to seeing Leif and his friends swimming in our new pristine and gorgeous pond.
