August 15: Can’t buy happiness! But can rent a boat!

We had an early morning so that we could maximize our time spent on the water! We rented boats from “Berkshires U-Drive Boat Rentals” and had the most positive experience with them, 10/10 would recommend to a friend. 12/10 would recommend to ourselves, to do again next week!

Then we came back to camp and spent our afternoon eating lunch, resting, and prepping our skits and songs for Studio Night. Because it’s Friday, our weekend warriors have started to arrive, meaning we have more numbers than ever! How lucky are we to have such an abundance of love within this community? We enjoyed our yummy dinner outside on the patio, and talked through final preparations for the show!

Studio night was a hit! Some highlights included David Gordon singing to “Honey Honey” as a bumblebee, Thomas and Keenan receiving pies to the face during Ophelia’s gameshow, and a trivia night where Scott and Nancy won the tie-breaker over Morgan and Ophelia by answering the question: What is Jojo’s full name? Olivia set up a coffee shop and prepared the MOST delicious coffee for Keenan, Myles Cabbagestalk shared one of his inspirational poems for slam poetry, and a Te Cole original was performed by Te & Crew. A fun time was had by all!
