Blue Team & Boating!

We have been BUSY! Thanks for being along for the ride with us.

Monday morning we learned the biggest news of all- The Blue Team prevailed this year’s color wars!

Later in the morning our new friend Owen stopped by to give us a presentation about meadows! He taught us about why meadows are important and how we can grow our own native wildflower meadow right here on our new land. We took a walk to look to look at the site for our meadow. Currently, it is a lawn with weeds but together we envisioned a native wildflower meadow and talked about the flowers we want and our favorite colors and the best locations for paths making it accessible to interact with. We are excited for everyone in our community to have a part in envisioning the future of our property so that when it becomes real we all feel that we have had a part in it’s making.

We spent the afternoon in Northampton and cooled off with some ice cream!!

On Tuesday we kept the momentum going- made time for meditation, cleaning camp and we talked about our parade theme! (get excited!)

The afternoon is where the action happened— BOATING! Thanks to our friends at Berkshire U-Drive Boat Rentals for having us again!
